We take measurements of your furniture and work with you on a floor plan of your new home that it is comfortable and safe and helps to ease the stress of your relocation.
SORT, ORGANIZE,
and DE-CLUTTEr
We schedule several sessions of
hands-on assistance with decision making and downsizing so you will save money on your move. Shredding services can also be coordinated.
COORDINATE MOVERS and DETAILS
We make recommendations, interview, and coordinate movers before and during a move. We coordinate crew size, materials needed, communicate with your new community and oversee all other move-day details.
PACK, UNPACK, and
RESETTLE
We carefully pack your belongings, taking photos during the process, so as to recreate a familiar, moving-in-ready home upon unpacking.
REDISTRIBUTE UNNEEDED BELONGINGS
Home Again Transitions helps arrange for the profitable sale of unneeded items by working with estate sales professionals, antique dealers, and/or consignment shops. We also coordinate pick-ups by local charities of items being donated and provide detailed lists of donated items for tax records.
Moves Within a Continuing Care Retirement Community
In the case that health needs increase to a point that assisted living or skilled nursing is necessary and relocation within the community is required to meet those needs, Home Again Transitions can handle entire process with no additional moving company required.
