Home Again Transitions is proud to be a member of the National Association of Senior Move Managers (NASMM). NASMM is the premier founding national organization of move management professionals for older adults dedicated to setting Gold Standards of Ethics and Safety. NASMM requires its members to adhere to ethics and safety standards, proof of insurance, continuing education, and training to maintain membership.
Home Again Transitions has been a NASMM member since 2013. We are certified in Senior Move Management and hold certificates in Packing Specialist and Hoarding services and specialize in working with clients with dementia. We are bonded and insured. We offer a multifaceted approach to the move process from space planning in the beginning to post-move support and advocacy. We execute a seamless plan of action, customized to your wishes. We take the worry and work out of the move process.
Meet the Consultant
Dee Mele
I grew up in a small town and live in a neighboring small farming community of Wellington, Ohio in southern Lorain County. My husband and I are proud to have raised two incredibly talented children. I love music and flower gardening and enjoying our two dogs, Max and Gunner, in my spare time. In helping my parents and my husband’s parents through their later-life transitions and advocating for my mother who has dementia, I learned of this career. Through my natural organizational abilities and management experience as well as my enjoyment of visiting with older adults, starting a Senior Move Management business just seemed like the perfect fit. I love helping to transform the lives of older adults, enabling them to adjust to their changing needs with much less stress and worry.
Dee is also a member of the Lorain County Senior Network, a member of the Eldercare Professionals Of Ohio, a member of the Bridges Networking Group, a volunteer with the Western Reserve Area Agency On Aging's (WRAAA) - Advocacy In Motion program and serves on the Lorain County Hoarding Task Force.
