We are Senior and Specialty Move Managers.  As a result of our work, we’ve had the opportunity to network with many of the organizations in the community that offer services to people with special needs.  One such organization that is near and dear to our hearts is the Dementia Friendly LIFE Foundation. 

The LIFE Foundation services Lorain County residents by offering resources, support, education, and activities to help improve the quality of life for those who suffer from dementia along with those who care for people with dementia.  They offer these services through traveling Memory Café’s that visit local towns once a month at regular locations.  The Foundation is a non-profit who relies on funds from donors, sponsorships, grants, and government stipends as well as volunteers in presenting the programing.  Currently, there are six Memory Café’s in operation in locations of Wellington, Lorain, Amherst, Wooster, and North Ridgeville and the list for demand is growing. 

In support of The Dementia Friendly LIFE Foundation, we will be holding an online auction that will run October 13th through October 20th this year.  Our goal is to raise as much money as possible to contribute to the programming costs of LIFE Foundation that benefit so many families in Lorain County.
